The MICR proposes educational pathways and workshop activities for schools of all levels. By integrating formal education with the informal education provided by the museum context, through multidisciplinary tools and contents, it is possible to bring young people closer to history and to stimulate reflections on issues that are more topical than ever, such as human rights, social policies, civil activism, citizenship education or women’s emancipation.

The same multiplicity of perspectives and languages has inspired several special projects to promote and enhance the history and heritage of the Red Cross.
