The MICR is renewing its educational offering with courses and activities reserved for primary, first-grade secondary and second-grade secondary schools, to be carried out both in person and online.

Guided tours and workshop activities are conducted by Red Cross staff with the support of educators experienced in cultural mediation.

It is also possible to agree in advance with teachers on themed pathways, following an interdisciplinary approach.
Possible focuses include:
• The inception of Humanitarian Law
• Health and prevention: Hygiene campaigns in history
• The role of women in the humanitarian field: from Castiglione women to today
• Communication in times of war

It is possible, on request, to continue the visit to other sites and places historically linked to the Museum and the origins of the Red Cross, such as the Cathedral and Palazzo Bondoni Pastorio in Castiglione delle Stiviere or the Rocca and the Red Cross Memorial in Solferino.

Inside the Museum, it is also possible to access in-depth multimedia content by downloading the MICR Augmented Reality App and following the  Fil Rouge pathway.
